If you do not agree with our policies and practices, you should not use our website. By accessing or using our website, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This policy may change from time to time. Your continued use of this Site after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates. This policy does not apply to our data collection activities offline or otherwise outside of the Site (unless otherwise stated below). Please review our website’s Terms of Use, which govern your use of the website generally.

Access restricted to people of Legal Drinking Age

Our website, and access to all advertising, marketing and other information there is intended only for persons of legal drinking age. By accessing our website, you represent that you are at least twenty one (21) years of age and that any information you provide in response to an age verification request is accurate.

We do not knowingly collect information pertaining to those under the legal drinking age. We request that such individuals not use our website, not provide any information to us and immediately leave our website. If you believe someone under the legal drinking age has provided us with information in violation of our website’s access restrictions, please contact us at 707 200 4572, or estate@younginglewood.com and we will remove such information in accordance with applicable law.

In the event that we become aware that we have collected personal information from any child under the age of 13, we will dispose of that information in accordance with COPPA and other applicable laws and regulations. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child under the age of 13 has provided us with personal information without COPPA-required consent, please contact us at estate@younginglewood.com.

Electronic Communications

When you access our website, or send emails or other electronic communications, you are communicating with us electronically, and you agree to receive communications from Young Inglewood electronically. You further agree that all communications we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be otherwise delivered.

Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide to us directly, including contact information such as your first and last name, email address, physical address, and telephone number; your date of birth for age verification; your preferred credit card information for product purchases; a user name and password.

Automated Information Collection

In addition to the information you affirmatively provide us with, we may also passively collect information about you during your visit to our website. We collect this information using the automated tools described below. These tools may collect information about your browsing habits, your location and your computer system, such as internet address (IP address), the pages you have viewed, and the actions you have taken during your visit.

Cookies

The platform sends aggregated, non-personal information to Google Analytics to provide us with the ability to conduct technical and statistical analysis of the platform’s performance. Web Beacons

Our website may include links to third party websites (including social media) that we do not operate or maintain, and over which we have no control. These links are solely for your convenience and you visit them solely at your own discretion and risk.

We obtain your consent to our information storage or collection tracking technologies described above by providing you with transparent information in this policy and providing you with the opportunity to make a choice to disable cookies as set forth above.  We are giving you detailed notice of the tracking technologies and your choices regarding them so that your consent is meaningfully informed.

We may, from time to time, supplement the information we collect directly from you on our website with outside records from third parties for various purposes, including to enhance our ability to serve you, to tailor our content to you and to offer you opportunities that may be of interest to you.  To the extent we combine information we receive from those sources with your information that we collect on our website, we will apply this policy to such combined information, unless we have disclosed otherwise.  In no other circumstances do our statements under this policy apply to information we receive about you from third parties. 

How we use your information

We use the information for a number of purposes, such as, to keep you informed about our products and any events; to personalize our contacts with you; to complete your orders of our products - process payments, ship to you, and keep you informed about the shipment progress; respond to inquiries; to improve our website; to create new service offerings; to customize your experience on the website, or to serve you specific content that is most relevant to you;  for our own internal business purposes; and for any purpose disclosed at the time you provide your information or as otherwise set forth in this policy.

We do not share, sell or trade the information we collect from you, including information collected as part of a survey.

We do not contribute to or participate in shared or cooperative databases, which give other companies access to your personal information. We do not release credit card or financial information for use by other companies.

Automated Processing and Artificial Intelligence

We may use automated tools, including analytics software and AI-assisted features, to improve our website, personalize content, and better understand how visitors interact with our site. We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on consumers.

If we use personal information you provide to train or improve any AI system, we will (a) obtain your consent before doing so for any purpose not described in this policy, and (b) honor your rights to access, correct, and delete such information in accordance with applicable law. We do not use your personal information as training data for AI systems operated by third parties.

Financial Incentives

We may offer programs or incentives, such as our wine club membership or early access to new releases, that involve the collection or use of personal information.  Participation in any such program is entirely voluntary.  The value of the incentive reflects the benefit we receive from using your information to improve our products and services and communicate with you about offerings you have indicated interest in.  You may opt out of any such program at any time by contacting us at estate@younginglewood.com, and doing so will not affect your ability to purchase our products.

Security

For your privacy and security, we take all reasonable steps to secure your information and protect it from unauthorized access.

We have put in place physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access to, maintain security of, and correctly use the information we collect. Personally identifiable information and account activity are also protected through the use of e-mail addresses and passwords. In order to maintain the security of your information, you should protect the confidentiality of such information used to log into your account.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information and privacy, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you disclose or transmit to us online and cannot be responsible for the theft, destruction, or inadvertent disclosure of your personal information.

Disclosure of your information

We may disclose aggregated information about our website users without restriction.

California "Shine the Light" Disclosure

California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits California residents to request, once per year, information about whether we have disclosed personal information to third parties for those third parties' direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.   If our practices change, we will update this disclosure accordingly.  Residents who wish to make a Shine the Light inquiry may contact us at estate@younginglewood.com.

SMS

If you opt in to SMS communications, the Site uses cookies to help keep track of items you put into your shopping cart, including when you have abandoned your cart, and this information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via SMS.

You will receive messages with information, promotions, and offers to the number(s) you have provided, including use of an automated system. Message frequency varies. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

Under no circumstances will we sell or share your name, mobile telephone number, or other personal information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Under no circumstances will we purchase or use your name and mobile telephone number collected from third parties.

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the number that sent you the message. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

Email Signup

We ask you to provide a name and email address. We use this information solely to fulfill your request to be subscribed and to help us ensure that we’re sending you the type of emails you want. We do not buy, share or sell email addresses.

Gift Cards and Gift Messages

These options allow you to send a personal greeting with your gift order. We make no use of the information contained in these greetings except to complete your order as you have requested.

Opting out of all communications from Young Inglewood

If you would like to opt out of all future communications and/or promotional materials from us, you may indicate this preference by following the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of our e-mails or by contacting us via e-mail, online, or by phone.

How You Can Access and Update Information

If you have previously provided any personally identifiable information to us by way of our website, you retain the right to review, correct, update, delete or otherwise modify such information.

To access the personally identifiable information that we have collected about you that we maintain, or to correct factual errors in such information, simply log into your account using your e-mail address and password to update your information. Or you may also contact us at our address below.

To protect your privacy and security, we will take reasonable steps to help verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.

State Privacy Rights

State consumer privacy laws may provide their residents with additional rights regarding our use of their personal information.

California (discussed in more detail under the next heading), Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia provide (now or in the future) their state residents with rights to:

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Consumer Privacy Act apply to businesses meeting specific revenue and data volume thresholds. To the extent Young Inglewood Vineyards does not meet those thresholds, the rights described in this section may be provided voluntarily as a matter of our commitment to your privacy rather than as a legal requirement. We will honor requests submitted in good faith under any of the rights described below.

If you are a California consumer, as defined by the CCPA, you may be afforded additional rights with respect to your “Personal Information” as that term is explicitly defined under California Law. Any Personal Information we collect is for the purpose of effectively providing our products and services to you, as well as enabling you to learn more about our products and services. You may exercise each of your rights, as identified below, subject to our verification of your identity. Please be advised that these may not be all the rights currently available to California residents. You are advised to make your own enquiries as to what may be available to you if you are a California resident.

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months and have no current plans to do so. If this practice changes, we will update this policyand provide notice as required by law before doing so.

Right to Correct Inaccurate Personal Information

In the event that any of the personal information we maintain about you is incorrect, you have the right to request that we correct it.

Rightto Request Deletion of Personal Information

If you should wish tocease use of our platform and have your personal information deleted from ourplatform, you may submit a request to estate@younginglewood.comand/or call us at 707 200 4572.

 

Submittinga verifiable consumer request does not require that you have an active accountwith us, nor are you required to create an account. As previously noted, wewill need to obtain enough information from you to verify your request inprotection of your information before responding to your request.

To protect your privacy andsecurity, we must verify your identity before responding to consumer rightsrequests. The verification information we may request is proportionate to thenature of your request and the sensitivity of the information involved, andwill be limited to information we already maintain about you. We will not askfor your Social Security number or government identification number to verify aroutine access or deletion request.

To verify your identity, wemay ask you to confirm information such as your name, email address, phonenumber, or billing address associated with your account. For requestsconcerning sensitive personal information, we may request additionalverification. We will not use verification information for any purpose otherthan processing your request.

If you submit a requestthrough an authorized agent, we may require written proof of authorization fromyou and may verify your identity directly.

Wemay decline to honor a consumer rights request only where permitted byapplicable law, including where we cannot verify your identity, where therequest is manifestly unfounded or excessive, or where a statutory exceptionapplies.  We will explain the basis forany denial and inform you of your right to appeal.

Rightto Not be Discriminated Against for Exercising the Rights to Disclosure orDeletion

Wewill not discriminate against you for exercising your rights under Californialaw. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different rate forgoods or services, provide you with a different quality of goods or services,or take any other adverse action.

Wedo not sell your Personal Information. However, should this policy change, wewill make every effort to inform you within the guidelines of California law,and provide you with an opportunity to opt out of sales of your PersonalInformation.

Automated Decision-Making

Transfer of Information to the United States

Our website is operated in the United States. If youare located outside of the United States, please be aware that information wecollect, including personal information, will be transferred to and processedin the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of yourcountry. Where required by applicable law, we will implement appropriatesafeguards for international transfers of personal information, such asstandard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
